Winterboard on 5.01?
By · CommentsHow come none of the themes I had on my 4.3.3 work on 5.01? I have the same settings and all the files at the same place as before updating. However, the stock slider and the hideous slide show icon, are still present. Even with the themes activated in WB…
Also, is SmartScreen incompatible with IOS 5? I wanted the clock on the lock screen, and I had for a while, but it vanished and I can’t get it back..

Problem about Mail settings
By · CommentsSometimes when I access my mail, either through me.com, or through wanadoo.fr, and also through iCloud, I get a message saying that there is something wrong with my settings and the system cannot handle either displaying mail on the screen, or sending it from my iPad. The message preview is displayed on the left side of the screen in landscape view, and when sending I can get as far as hitting the Send button.
In response to the instruction to review settings, I go to Settings and click on Mail. Then, without doing anything else at all, I click on DONE, whereupon the problem disappears, the incoming mail is displayed, and the outgoing mail is sent.

Pages and Notes Dictionary
By · CommentsHow can I add words to the iPad dictionary so that they are not flagged as a spelling error? For example, I want to use the Latin word "cogitans" in an article I am writing, so I do not want the spell checker to flag it. In a similar way, I want to use English English spelling, for example, "colour" not "color" but I don’t seem able to tell the spell checker to use English English.
